Floor Project

Sooooo .. there were tears, there was blood.. but we did it! After a little hard work and what seems like a zillion hours, we have finally ALMOST finished our concrete floors.

First, let's take a look at the before pix...



Here we are working on the floors...



I could not be happier with the results! They still need the top coat and the stain is going to darken a little.. so stay tuned for those pix!



Look how good my bathroom mirror will look with the floors once we finish the bathroom!

    wow-zers! questions: did you do the overlay yourselves or just the color coat? and did it go right over the old vinyl or did you have to remove that firtt?

    Thank you! I think we have actually impressed ourselves on this project. It was a major amount of work that we did all on our own. We had to remove most of the exsisting floor then lay hardi backer over the top to use as the new subfloor.
