Sneak peak...

Can't wait 31 dAYS.. Have to show off a few things now! :D
The guest book, with my fabulous engagement pix. Thanks to alicia watkinson(awesome new photographer) and Shutterfly(awesome and easy way to make picture projects).
The dress bling.. It was the priciest brooch we bought for the big day.... but well worth every penny! Thanks mom!
Of course, I will NOT show the brooch bouquet just yet!

31 days...don don don!

screw Vera Wang.. this is my couture dress by Dicie Linda or DiLinda..hehe

Of course, I bought the first dress I found, while vacationing in Las Vegas last August. Brady and I walked into the Jessica McClintock boutique on the strip and my mouth dropped.. "that is the one." I ordered the dress, loved it, but 3 months later I was shopping online and checking out the local dress stores with Brady's sister, Lacy. We had sooo much fun, as it was the 1st time I was able to completely obsess over this wedding.. and somebody actually listened and/or cared.

I am so ready for this planning to be over, because of course, ever since I have been completely obsessed with this one day.

The idea of selling my brand new dress and buying a replacement for $3,000 made me a little sick... So I decided to keep the summery wedding dress that I had already bought. Until about a week ago when I approached my mom with the brilliant idea of adding a tulle skirt! Of course she asked my talented aunts Linda and Dicie to help out!

They were amazing and had soooo many crafty ideas. Of course, the construction of the skirt took 4 days and about 30 hours. .... So worth the time.. the time I spent watching the three of them slave over my dress. I think they could really give Vera Wang a run for her money!

You will all have to wait to see the finished result on July 1st! Can't wait!
Thanks so much Linda and Dicie! Love ya!

Wedding Shoes

Can not decide! Obsessing over shoes like cRAZY!

This is a pair of Victor Alfaro gladiators that my Mom and I picked up.
Look good, but maybe not cool enough!

Also, Heels.com has some gorgeous Badgley Mischka pumps.

House Hunt is on!

..has been on for a while... still not finding anything!

So, as most of you know, Brady and I sold our home on April 21. We stilllll have not found a replacement, and have been living in Ron and Kari's basement.

We have been looking at this sweet gem in Riverview. BUT there is no heat source, so of course, it will not finance. I even had the hook up with getting into this house b4 it is even on the market.. still isn't on the market.

Then we found out that my childhood home was being foreclosed on. 217 15th Ave S, it would have been soooo cool to buy.
But, it was auctioned off on Friday, the buyer had to have cash (bids started at $106,000) and you could not get a home inspection or see the home prior to bidding.
Too bad! We need to find a dumpy house soon! lol

My new hobby!

I finally have a hobby that I can afford!

I never have too much to blog about, but here is something I think everybody should do...
This bundle has been around since the beginning of March. I bought them b4 the open house on our home. They are still fresh!

This bundle has been around since March as well!

...Put flowers in every room of the house!
Brady is always telling me a that I need a hobby. My hobbies include decorating, shopping, watching movies, jogging, camping and so on... But shopping is too expensive and who is going to go camping when it is snowing in ApriL!!

Now, I've discovered that Albertsons has a build your own bouquet section in their floral dept. I love it! I have been buying them like crazy to make my house feel like spring. They have a wide variety of flowers year round at a whooping $3.50 per bundle or 3 for $10. Picking out the vases and displaying the flowers in different ways is way too fun and it really makes your house feel like it is right out of a magazine. I am one of those freaks who relaxes and relieves stress by cleaning my house(I get it from my Mom).. so this is just an added bonus!

I think everybody should have fresh flowers in their home. At this price, you can!
Above is a preview of alllll the flowers I currently have. 6 bundles at $20
....I can't believe I just spent the last half hour, while at work, blogging about my flowers! Hope you enjoy!
