nature walks on the RIVERRRR

Lately my friends and I have been spending every spare minute at the river. We go to our secret spot that we have gone for years now... the bird sanctuary! However, it isn't so secret anymore. There is an outhouse and a parking lot and all the sudden that means more people go there... crap!






Oh, and we saw a porcupine(the reason for the title being "nature walks"!!)

Backyard=fun!

I made Brady carve our initials into our fabulous pink tree the other night. It was kind of gross when the bark came off and the tree appeared to have had its skin peeled off the same way it would look on a human. That is disgusting, I know. Brady and I were disgusted as well. I hope it doesn't kill my tree. While we were carving away, Koko squeaked her toy continuously. We tried to take it away and she would not let go. She held on while we spun her around in circles!
Brady hammered his nice chisel into our tree. He had to bend it with a hammer to get it out. I don't always understand men.. OH and our deck is finished!! If you refer to a post a few months back, you can see the before and after. The stain is the darkest transparent and it looks FABULOUS!!

Memorial weekend in Bozo

I spent Memorial weekend in Bozeman with my parents and Brady at Kyle and Sharman's college housing. It sounds crazy to have us all in that little apartment, but it was a blast! We went go-karting at this awesome place in Belgrade. The cars actually went really fast. I of course got the fastest time when we all raced, but Brady beat us all for the weekend. My dad won every race but one that my Brother took first in. On Brady's first race, he got lapped FOUR times!!! haha.




Later that night, we hiked up the mountain to the M. It was so HARD. I was wearing jeans and two shirts and thought I was going to pass out. I got about 100 yards from the M and started to have an Asthma attack. Which is strange since I do not have asthma... so I started to FREAK out! I won't lie.. there were tears!!! Kyle and Sharman were like chill out! and then they continued running up the hill... haha!The last two days I begged everybody to go again so I could redeem myself.. but they did not care to see the same scenery twice.
Any ways.. there are cliffs all over the place up there and my dad thought it would be a good idea to climb on a rotten tree that was growing out of the side of a cliff. It was very high up and very scary :|

No more house hunting!!

My parents found the perfect home!!! It is in the process of being built so they get to pick out all colors and finishes. There was a tie between another house, but my dad measured the garages and picked the biggest!



There is it! It will be grey tones rather than what is shown is this artist rendering. I think it is going to be perfect for them!

I am extremely opinionated with my parents choices and I think I might be driving my mom up the wall. I can't help it.. it is way too fun to pick everything out!

Squirrel

This morning, while enjoying a bowl of plain oatmeal :| , I looked out in the yard to see Koko staring at the tree with a little too much interest. This squirrel was climbing down towards her! A little after the pic was taken, the squirrel managed to make it all the way down the tree and was on its way towards Koko... when Cujo bolted from the house and ruined my picture! Darn dogs!

To continue on to my last blog.. When I woke up the next morning, the snow had really came down. Kind of surprised that I don't have a million broken branched in the yard.

Our bathroom is still a work in progress. Brady put the light in with no flashlight. He had to screw it to the wall with the electricity on in order to see. I came up behind him with my camera and I think the flash almost made him pee his pants. It was kind of funny to see him jump on that little ottoman.


Last night Brady bought me Taco Bell when I got off work. In return, I had to go to the school and watch him and Dustin kick field goals. We took Cujo along, and wow he enjoyed himself.







I do realize that I take a whole lot of dog pix but there is really not much else to take pix of at my house. .. so I will show you a few more! and my perfect margarita on Cinco de Meyo.





And since I have my moms camera in front of me I think I will post some old pix I like...
!!nice cowboy hat Kyle!! He graduated from Bozo this weekend. I am so proud of him!

Last time Kyle and Sharman were in town, they all went ice skating. I think I should have went. .It appears to be entertaining.


Today my parents home went under contract! woot woot! My ma' and I sat online tonight getting kitchen ideas just in case they decide to build. I would love to design a house from scratch. I know it would be a pain, but very much worth it.


A few months ago my Dad and Brady took on the project of fixing up Brady's cousins, Raif and Tuckers, motorcycle. We could not return it without first taking a ride. Right? I think we might be a little big... but it was fun! ..check out my smile..
